

In my life, I have held meaningful jobs that I felt placed me in a significant position to help others. As I pursue the education to become a counseling psychologist, it has been an eye-opening experience to consider this as a calling and profession, listening and guiding people through their difficult times.
My work history has taught me that a seminal component of working with people draws upon patience, adaptability, discipline, effective communication, and active empathetic listening. As an interdisciplinary graduate, I have learned to expand my personal perspective to incorporate a broader range of methodologies in search of solutions.
In 2022, while attending the Eastern Oregon University online program, I received a certificate from the National Pinnacle Honor Society for Non-Traditional Students for achieving academic excellence.
Assisted the underprivileged through volunteer work. Environmental clean-up and
beautification. Strong teamwork, organization, and time management skills evolved
through this practice.
