Aaron Heger

Hard working, focused, obedient individual that has worked in multiple different fields before and during college. Has learned to work with people from many different backgrounds to achieve common goals. Very academically sound by maintaining a 4.1 GPA in high school and a 3.5 while in Augustana University's nursing program. Three sport athlete in high school while being the team captain for baseball and making first team all-state. Plays division 2 college baseball for Augustana and was on the all academic conference team while winning the regular season conference trophy and making it to the division 2 college world series. In addition to baseball, is also an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership board at Augustana and is a part of the student council leadership board for the Catholic campus ministry team. Is also a certified nursing assistant in South Dakota and an Eagle Scout after completing a final project of building three walking bridges over a rock filled drainage system at a local park in Bemidji, Minnesota.

Very active physically and mentally. Has played the piano for 11 years and accompanies the cantors at masses both in Sioux Falls and back home in Bemidji, Minnesota. Is very active in the faith based community while leading a youth ministry conference at Augustana, leading a group of 10 seniors in high school at a summer Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp, attending prison mass services at the South Dakota state penitentiary with the inmates, volunteering for youth fellowship at home, etc. Led a weekly pitching development camp for 12-14 year olds that lasted for 2 months.
