I believe I'm fit for this job because I'm a collaborative leader with a dedication to partnering with coworkers to promote an engaged, empowering work culture. I've documented my strengths in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of people in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
The City of Long Beach Parks and Recreation offered me many opportunities, including their summer, after-school, and youth sports programs. The summer and after-school programs had me focusing on a day camp schedule which allowed me to construct and improvise certain activities for campers aged 5-12. This also required me to transition campers between activities, rest periods, and field trips. Some other responsibilities I had were working in customer service, regulating proper etiquette and cleanliness, and filing incident reports for campers. While I was working in the youth sports program I score-kept and refereed, which helped me build focus and initiative to regulate proper sportsmanship and rule-following.
My duties included greeting customers entering the store and responding promptly to their needs. I always kept a positive attitude to build relationships with customers to encourage repeated business. Additionally, I operated a cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels, and some shelf stocking.
My duties included sorting and placing mail into mailboxes and post office boxes. Additionally, I registered and released packages to designated recipients and obtained signatures. It was important that I learned and followed the proper safety protocols while handling and sorting mail for personal safety purposes. I also maintained a clean and organized mail room to promote safety and efficiency.
