I was raised at Zion Missionary Baptist Church and attended Glennville Christian Academy until 8th grade. I got saved when I was 10 while attending Glennville Christian. I was soon after baptized at Zion Baptist Church. Growing up I would be on fire for God one minute and then I would get caught up in the world doing what Aaron wanted to do. I felt the calling to be in the ministry when I was 18 years old. I have been running from it ever since. I got married to Sarah in 2011 and we have two sons, Layton 9 and Luke 6. Two summers ago I got hospitalized with blood clots in my lungs and around my kidneys. It was then that God got my attention. He let me know that I needed to be a better father and a husband to my family. While I was in the hospital I kept thinking what is the worst thing that could happen. That answer was that my two boys would die and go to hell. How much harder would it be for them to get saved if something happened to me. I have since done my best to try and be the best role model for my two sons and praying that the Lord would save them when the time is right. Over the past couple of weeks, I have felt a desire to work with the youth at Zion. I feel God is calling me, and I keep thinking about it daily. I would love to help the youth program at Zion grow and witness to as many youth in the community as possible.
