During this tenure, I have had the opportunity to not only work on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team, but lead the Professional Development, Mentorship, Recruitment, and Retention subgroup where I, along with my team, have been able to create, implement, and run a functional mentorship program and have also developed a Recruitment and Retention strategy that is currently in Phase 3 of 4. I have also been able to take part in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Steering Committee, where we focus on initiatives within the company to raise awareness for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I have taken part over and led many quality initiatives where I have been able to learn, strategize, and develop goals to decrease barriers with our members to improve and create increased health equity for not only our members, but for all Ohioans and other individuals our work touches beyond.
