  • Completed intakes for new shelter clients and created ID to allow them access, the amount depended on the number of available beds
  • Worked with clients at risk of homelessness due to unpaid rent, and their landlord, to prevent them from homelessness by paying their arrears
  • Assisted with housing residents who were camping the numerous encampments around the city
  • I was the first face of the shelter, I met with clients who were new to the city and were looking for shelter, often more than 50 per week. Most did not speak English and an interpreter was required to communicate
