I started out aa a customer service rep 1 assisting with Mediciad calls. In this role I confirmed benefits, approvals, authorizations. I also assisted providers needing to verify eligibility, benefits and approvals for members. I was then up skilled to the OTC department where I learned Medicare guidelines, I assisted members with placing online delivery orders to their homes for their medications. In this role I also verified balances, card information, and tracking details. From this department I was up skilled to customer service rep 2 where I took on side projects with the RFI team. In this role I was assisting members with verifying status on their Medicare applications, advising needed information, and processing letters to be sent out electronically for this information. I also made outbound calls to these members to make them aware of their eligibility and status. Throughout my time here with this company, I followed a company script to be sure all HIPPA was being secured, this was a very fast pace position here with a high level of calls. Time management was a major key here as well as being able to navigate through multiple systems.
This role was a remote position from home where I assisted Medicaid members with benefits, appeals, authorizations and claims. This was a fast paced position with a high level of calls daily. I was able to master navagating through multiple systems to verify eligibility and approvals for members. This position was short lived due to me having to relocate out of the state.
In this role I learned radio communications. I was able to communicate information with pilots in regards to their current status and needs. the main goal in this role was to keep track of the aircraft in the air as the transported emergency patients to and from their destinations. I assisted with making calls to near by hospitals, air watch to ensure these patients were making it to their destination safely. Navigating through a computer system allowing me to mark destinations and landing times. This was a very fast paced position with many emergency calls coming through. Time management and navigation was a big key here. This position was short lived due to this being a 12 hour shift and I was not able to commit fully.
