Throughout my career as a teacher and a server/cashier, I have developed a diverse skill set that is highly relevant to legislative work. Effective communication was central in both roles, whether I was delivering complex information clearly and understandably or interacting with customers and students. These experiences honed my ability to facilitate discussions, handle diverse opinions, and maintain constructive dialogue—skills essential for working with constituents, colleagues, and legislators.

My teaching experience also required strong organizational and time-management skills, especially in lesson planning and adapting strategies to meet individual needs. Additionally, my ability to multitask under pressure as a server/cashier and manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail reflects my capability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
