Responsibilities:
Develop and execute proactive maintenance plans to ensure the proper functioning of basic facilities.
• Coordinate and manage installations, refurbishments, and repairs of telecommunications, heating, electricity, and other systems.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of building structures to identify and address repair or renovation needs.
• Review utilities consumption and implement measures to minimize costs.
• Supervise facility staff, including custodians, technicians, and groundskeepers, as well as external contractors.
• Manage service contracts and insurance plans, ensuring compliance and value for money.
• Control activities such as parking space allocation, waste disposal, and building security.
• Maintain accurate financial and non-financial records related to facilities management.
• Perform analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues and mitigate their impact on operations.
• Plan and optimize space allocation and resource utilization for new buildings or re-organizing existing premises.
• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including delegating or completing maintenance orders
In depth experience with all trades namely carpentry, masonry, steel fixing, scaffolding, plumbing, sewage were line, electrical lighting, painting and finishing work.
Gypsums works plain & design, false, ceiling works, all types of wall & false ceiling-pelmets of curve and decorative dooms.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawing and layout.
Experience in managing large groups of worker.
Demonstrate past experience on high finishing projects.
Handle creation of job duties and delegate tasks to construction workers.
Extensive gulf experience on major projects.
Create and monitor schedules for each worker and ensure that he has the physical and mental ability to cope
v Ensure accuracy of work orders prior to handing them out and make sure that time efficiency is taken into account
v Make sure that work sites are cleaned and cleared of any hazardous materials prior to the beginning of a construction project
Brief crew members about how daily tasks need to be carried out
v Manage construction budgets and track construction costs
v Ensure that all machinery and tools are available to the crew and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance
v Perform inspections to ensure that the crew’s performance is up to the set standards
v Coordinate separate modules of the construction process to ensure harmony
v Ensure that all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner
v Monitor daily construction procedures to ensure that proper quality is maintained and that schedules are being followed
