C-EFM

EFM certification outlines the safety of a fetus through external and in some cases internal monitors. The monitor displays the fetal heart rate, accelerations, decelerations, variables and variability of the fetal heart rate. This gives important information such as if a fetus is healthy or having trouble tolerating labor. It is extremely important to monitor EFM in timely increments as there is no room for error.
