Abbigail Brown

I am currently a student at BTECH High School; my name is Abbigail, and I am a motivated 17-year-old with valuable experience in the workforce. From June to August 2023, I participated in the Summer Youth Employment Program at Queens Community House, where I worked online and gained essential skills. As a current student at BTECH High School, I have developed a strong foundation in digital literacy, communication, time management, and technical proficiency. At my school, I am currently taking a Career and Finance Management class, where I have learned a few job acknowledgments and the responsibilities of a job. Throughout my summer employment, I engaged in research and writing on healthcare topics, producing informational papers that explored healthcare skills, tips, and the systems in both the United States and around the globe. This experience not only enhanced my writing and critical abilities, but also deepened my understanding of an increasingly important field. In my work experience in the year 2023, I have achieved skills in digital literacy, communication, time management, and technical proficiency.
