- Packaging bread/cobbler, labeling and putting them out on the sales floor.
Opening Shift: Getting Drip Coffee ready for the day, putting soup and gravy in warmer, setting up espresso machine for the day. Putting pastries out on display. Side street signs (A-frame signs) on the corner of the block.
Closing shift: Cleaning dishes, cutting boards, fridges etc. detailing espresso machines. Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning the bathroom.
Bake-off shift: Baking pastries, breads/cobblers, biscuits. Make icing for scones and frying donuts. Mixing bagel dough and prepping for the next day.
Baker Assist: scooping scones, biscuits, cookies and putting them in the freezer. Decorating cakes. Clean up, doing dishes, taking out garbage, recyclables, etc.
Head Mixer: Following recipes and measuring things out on a scale. Use of heavy machinery. Organized and distributed daily tasks, including the processing of baked goods, to optimize workflow efficiency. Making an ordering list of food products that we need for the week and/or month.
