Work History

Mission Trip Volunteer

Corinth Baptist Church
Darden, TN
06.2025 - 06.2025
  • I went on a Mission Trip with Corinth Baptist Church. In June of 2025, I went to Belize and we were there for a week. We fixed bags of rice and beans, prepared medical boxes, and went to different villages. We attended a church on Sunday and used the rest of the day to get supplies ready to go to the different villages throughout the week. We went to different villages and set up a clinic and saw patients. I helped get patients signed in and took down their weight and symptoms. It was a great experience and It showed me how other countries aren't like ours. It was a eye opener because i had never seen or experienced different cultures or food like that. I enjoyed getting to help the villagers we saw and being able to spread the word of God.

Concession Stand Manager

Kyle Smith
Parsons, TN
03.2025 - 05.2025
  • My responsibilities were opening and closing the ballpark, restocking all of the drinks and food in the concession stand, making sure bathrooms were cleaned and stocked, making sure my workers came to work, setup and turn off scoreboards and field lights, and paying the concession stand workers and umpires. I would let Kyle know what drinks needed to be ordered and when they came in, I would restock them in the fridge. I would go to the store and restock on condiments, candy, and other necessities for the concession stand. I would order and pickup pizzas for the games as well. I turned in receipts and documented where I paid workers and umpires. I would also count up the money at the end of the night after paying everyone and document it and put it in the money bag and lock up everything.

Substitute Teacher

Parsons Elementary School
Parsons, TN
08.2023 - 01.2025
  • I get a call or message from a teacher if they are sick or are going to have to take off a day. If I’m available, then I sub for them. I must be at the designated school at 7:30 at the latest, and I will sign in with the front office and then go to that classroom. Most teachers leave instructions for me, so I know exactly what to do. Lately, I’ve been subbing in the office at Parsons Elementary School. My first time subbing there, she showed me how to do everything the day before I had to sub for her so I would know how everything worked. It’s easy once you do it a few times. I’ve had experience I many grades. I was mainly at an Elementary School but did sub at the middle school as well.

Babysitter

Courtney Graves
Parsons, TN
07.2018 - 07.2022
  • I would babysit Ford for Courtney. She would tell me about how long she would be gone. When Ford was little, I would make sure that he took a nap around 1:00 and a bath around 7. I was responsible for feeding him lunch and dinner and ensuring he took a nap and bathed before she got home. When Ford started getting bigger, he didn’t have to take naps anymore, and he had a dog now. I would have to take Kiwi outside every couple of hours to use the bathroom, and when I brought her back in the house, I would have to put her diaper back on her, so she didn’t have an accident in the house.

Vet Tech

Animal Care Clinic
Parsons, TN
08.2020 - 07.2022
  • I oversaw maintaining the cleanliness of each cage in the kennel. Every morning, I would walk each dog in the kennel, give them clean food and water, and administer any necessary medications. I would then proceed to write a note on the medication records of those who received theirs, just to make sure everyone is aware that they took their medication that morning. I was also in charge of bathing and trimming nails. To ensure they are dry and ready for their owners' arrival that afternoon, those tasks must be completed that morning, or at the very least, before lunch. Along with the other vet techs, I would fill prescriptions and assist in getting dogs ready for surgery. I would assist in the testing rooms during the day by gathering test sample materials and supporting the dog during the examination. Usually, I would clean twice a day: once at lunch and once again at closing. I was also in charge of making sure the laundry was finished and folded in the appropriate location.
