Bridge Design.

• I gained valuable experience working on a variety of bridge projects and inspections.
• My team is responsible for designing a new companion bridge to the existing Brent Spence Bridge to reduce congestion, improve traffic flow, and enhance safety on Interstates 71 and 75 in Kentucky and Ohio.
• I utilized Bentley OpenRoad Designer to draft the components of the bridge using ODOT and KYTC standard drawings.
• I designed the abutments, piers, and other related structures using LEAP Concrete Design software, following AASHTO and the Ohio Bridge Manual guidelines.
• I contribute to the weekly meeting, collaborate with coworkers nationwide, as well as subcontractors, to discuss what details should be shown in the bridge plans.
• I also coordinated the development of a bridge repair plan in Stow, Ohio, which encompassed concrete patching, applying an asphalt overlay, replacing side-mounted guardrails, and designing a new auger-cast retaining wall, all based on the findings of the geotechnical report.
• I used Civil 3D to draft the plans, and Excel to hand-calculate the retaining wall using the geotechnical report.

Bridge Inspections.

• I was part of a two-person team for a fracture-critical inspection of bridges hit by semitrucks.
• I conducted annual bridge and culvert inspections to assess their conditions.

Bridge analysis.

• I performed field inspections and created plans for a Bridge Feasibility Study on Hall Rd over I-270, with an emphasis on superstructure replacement.
• I used Brr software to perform load rating calculations on the bridge, assessing the capacity of various structural components to support the designed live loads.
• The consulting report has been submitted to ODOT, and they have accepted consideration of the project recommendations.

Project Consultant.

• I review sponsor design plans, contractor construction plans, and procedures, monitor construction activities, and coordinate between project stakeholders.
• I also prepared cost estimates for the Norfolk Southern project involvement.

Site Civil Construction inspector

• I was responsible for on-site observation, verifying construction work conformance to plan specifications, and documenting work progress with photos and daily reports on various projects.
• Projects included pavement replacement and pavement rejuvenation, residential construction, manhole, and sanitary testing.

• Construction Management and Estimate.
• I excelled in project management by administering schedules, finalizing contract agreements, organizing travel plans, and achieving outstanding results in dry painting, plumbing, and redesigning the exteriors and interiors of Dollar General stores.
