Currently collaborating on a study of agricultural pest population behavior in Southern Idaho by integrating and processing large, multi-source geospatial datasets (PRISM, NASA POWER, USDA Cropland) with long-term fly trap data. 

  • A Comparison of Logistic Regression and Linear Discriminant Analysis for Predicting Heart Disease, 2022

This project compares linear discriminant analysis and logistic regression for predicting cardiac illness using a real-world dataset. Despite similar approaches, linear discriminant analysis slightly outperforms logistic regression in prediction accuracy, determined through multiple measures and model selection on test data.
