- One of my most memorable experiences was practicing as a doctor in the Internal Medicine Department at DHQ, Sahiwal. I had the invaluable opportunity to rotate with esteemed medical consultants, absorbing a wealth of knowledge from them. As the largest hospital in the division, DHQ faces an overwhelming patient load, yet this environment served as a profound learning ground. The on-call duties were particularly essential, teaching us to take charge and handle all responsibilities independently during the night, without any senior staff to rely on. It was probably the time that truly gave us the feeling of being physicians. Yes, there was absolute autonomy, but the amount of pressure was surreal.
