Assisted the Practicing engineer with creating Visio designs and then physically deploying those networks across Cisco Traditional, Cisco Meraki, and on occasion Fortinet. Visited customer locations with existing networks to deploy a Cisco router for a GRE tunnel for hosted services to our Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Contact Center Express along with configuring their IP Phones and user accounts. Troubleshot any issues and maintained our hosted services virtual servers through vCenter and for customers that had on-premise servers.
Maintained the SalesForce ticketing system for the company to meet SLA assignments and ticket completions. Completed customer requests relating to Cisco Routing/Switching and Voice. Other customer requests included remote assistance, over the phone, and on-site visits for Windows, MACs, and Chromebooks troubleshooting. Visited customer sites all over California to complete site surveys or WiFi site surveys for new or existing networks.
Assisted in the installation and testing of Situational Awareness and Response Assistant (SARA) system and RoamAlert Wander Guard in retirement communities. Increased overall system reliability by performing comprehensive post-installation testing and adjustments. Taught the on-site team how to program pendants for residents and how to navigate the system/s. Provided support for the same customers after installation through the Sales Force ticketing system for troubleshooting or any further assistance required.
