- Made improvements to the CaTRAT tool delivered to the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) which has been used in the All India Tiger Estimation (AITE),22 for detecting and classifying 50 million camera-trap images of wildlife. The tool has been used to detect 98 classes of animals with an average precision of 86.41% and recall of 84.38%.
- Worked on developing a novel paradigm for integrating hierarchical information into object detection. I collaborated with Dr. Saket Anand, Associate Professor at IIIT Delhi.

- I built 16 different models using CNNs to implement the optimal architecture and loss function for digit classification using the Fashion MNIST dataset.
Facial Expression Recognition
- I built a facial expression recognition system using Convoluted Neural Networks, OpenCV, and Keras frameworks to distinguish between the seven basic facial expressions displayed by a character at different points in a video feed using the FER 2013 dataset.
Library management webapp
- I designed an efficient database for a library management system that allows users to borrow books and the admin to keep track of the same. I also developed a web app allowing users to search, rate, borrow and return books and the admin to keep track of the same.
