Abhyas Pinisetti

I am a freshman mechanical engineering student at the University of Georgia, pursuing a minor in business and a certification in computing. My main interests are in renewable energy, particularly smart grid integration, and energy systems. Currently, I am building foundational skills in Autodesk Inventor and MATLAB, with a focus on developing my technical proficiency in more engineering software and programming.

In the short term, I aim to gain hands-on experience through internships and research projects that will help me improve my practical skills in both engineering and business applications. I am eager to learn more about how the business side of engineering plays a role in the development of sustainable energy solutions, from project management to financial modeling.

Long-term, I aspire to combine my engineering background with my business knowledge to contribute to innovative solutions in renewable energy. I’m particularly interested in exploring opportunities that allow me to bridge the gap between engineering and business, potentially leading projects or companies that focus on sustainable energy and energy innovation.
