Responsibilities include providing diagnostic studies for the obstetricians within the high risk
OB/GYN department; completing multiple level II examinations, first trimester screening exams, interval growth and viability sonograms; management of IUGR, PIH, diabetic, and high risk obstetrics patients; facilitating CVS and amniocentesis procedures; performing pelvic: examinations and determine IUD locations; working with the infertility clinic to assess potential and new pregnancies, along with performing Saline Infused Sonohysterogams; and utilizing 3D imaging and Doppler procedures to better diagnose high risk obstetric, gynecological, and early pregnancies. Duties require working and communicating closely with physicians, geneticists, and patients to ensure a comprehensive medical plan will be compiled. Possess a strong working knowledge of viewpoint, Allscripts, and operation of the GE Voluson E10 ultrasound machine.
