• Graduated from the Navy’s premier advanced tactics course at NAWDC; served as squadron SWTI as a tactical subject matter expert for anti-submarine, surface, and electronic warfare operations
• Served as an International Military Security Officer as the primary liaison between the squadron and the Royal Danish Navy and Royal Danish Air Force to support international training and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
• As the Phase Officer, managed training progression and readiness for 200+ Fleet Replacement student pilots, overseeing all flight, simulator, and academic events

HSM-48 Fleet Pilot (2019–2022)

Detachment Operations Officer

• Led all aviation operations for a deployed MH-60R detachment during 7 months at sea in the 6th Fleet AOR, planning and executing 200+ mishap-free flight hours supporting multinational exercises and real-world operations. Directed daily mission scheduling, risk management, aircrew coordination, and cross-ship integration across the Norwegian Sea, Black Sea, and Mediterranean
• Served as primary liaison between ship leadership, aircrew, and maintenance teams to ensure safe and effective operational execution

Helicopter Aircraft Commander

• Designated mission commander with 1,200+ flight hours, responsible for tactical decision-making, crew leadership, and safe execution of complex multi-ship and multinational missions

Fleet Experimentation Detachment Lead

• Led operational testing and fleet experimentation events evaluating emerging mission systems and capabilities
• Provided operator-driven feedback to engineering and acquisition stakeholders, informing requirements refinement, tactics development, and modernization efforts

Quality Assurance Officer (QAO)

• Directed squadron Quality Assurance program overseeing airworthiness and maintenance quality for 12 aircraft and a 150-person maintenance department
• Established inspection standards, mitigated maintenance risk, and ensured compliance across four sea-going detachments
• Managed Functional Check Flight program validating aircraft safety and readiness following major maintenance

• Led 30 Aviation Electrician and Electronics Technicians, managing personnel development, maintenance execution, and daily operations

USN Flight School (2016-2019)

• Attended Aviation Preflight Indoctrination (API), Primary Flight Training, and Advanced Helicopter Training. Winged as a Naval Aviator in May, 2018. Proceeded to the HSM-40 Fleet Replacement Squadron to learn to fly the MH-60R
