  • Responsible for monitoring, researching and analyzing all accounting issues related to the DC on-hand inventory including, warehouse system (EWM/EXE) interface errors to resolve system issues. Works with Merchants, DC Management and Account Payable to resolve receiving, shipping and invoicing issues. Researches and analyzes all unusual DC activity, including large inventory adjustments or cycle counts. Coordinate with the IT and DC departments in the resolution of balancing problems relating to system issues.
  • Responsible for monitoring, researching and analyzing store level inventory including the following: RTVs (return to vendor), Inventory Discrepancies and Adjustments. This includes: RTV setup, tracking and vendor chargebacks; Store to Store transfer compliance; clearance discards and donations, daily review and correction of store inventory adjustments. Ensures the proper completion of Vendor Supplemental Agreements including all signoffs from appropriate parties. Reviews Supplemental Agreements to ensure company financials are properly covered. Performs weekly/monthly Store and Warehouse Inventory Adjustment Reporting.
  • Works on cross functional strategic projects and oversees all areas of Inventory Accounting related to Stores, SSC, or Distribution Centers. Reviews and oversees analysis or reporting to help support these projects. Develops and executes detailed systems test plans, including working with various departments, within the EWM, Retail Store, SAP, and Data Management Reporting (DMR) systems for implementations or upgrades.
  • Performs analytical research and analysis to determine root causes of inventory issues, Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis as needed, and participates in special projects as needed.
  • Review DC policies as well as all Store Inventory Movement Policies and ensures all Sarbanes Oxley requirements are met on a daily basis.
