  • Worked with administrator and colleagues to implement community's strategic goals and intersectional equity efforts.
  • Advanced skills in customer service and conflict resolution through work with community members.
  • Collaborated with the NRCS, Precision Conservation Management, as well as farmers in the county.
  • Shadowed resource conservationists with EQIP, CRP, Watershed restoration and PFC
  • Assisted with business communications via email, social media and mailings.
  • Assisted the administrator with Annual Tree, Plant, and Fish Sales. The general public can go onto the Rock Island County Soil and Water website and purchase trees, fish, pollinator plant packs, prairie grasses, and many different kinds of fish for their land.
  • Apart of the Quad Cities Stormwater Committee to help put together the 9th annual Quad Cities Stormwater Conference. This conference was targeted to the working for in water, conservation, engineering and city workers. Talks were held to learn about new ways for rain water to absorb into into the soil with, impervious services and new techniques for engineers to use and understand.
  • Attended QC Farm Equipment Show, Flower and Garden Show, Quad Cities Stormwater Conference, Pollinator Habitat Field Day
  • Worked with Precision Conservation Management (PCM) to create an event called Family Farmapalooza. This brought in the community which consisted of farmers, families and watershed residents. The goal of this event was to educate everyone on conservation practices that can be made on farm land, stream bank restoration and learn about equipment used on a farm.

  • Through Sierra Club, Hosted Environmental Film Festival in partnership with River Action
  • Through Sierra Club, Hosted a Trash cleanup in Lincoln Park and surrounding area of campus with Augustana College
  • Planted trees at Blackhawk State Park with the local 4H group
  • Cleaned up Rock Island County Soil and Water Conservation District pollinator patch
