Attended the Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers and Young Children STAT Training April 22-23, 2025
Deemed reliable in the use of the STAT instrument
Will perform Autism Early Diagnostic Evaluations in my resident continuity clinic and present patient cases at Autism Primary Care ECHO meetings
Attend bimonthly Autism Primary Care ECHO meetings to learn from case presentations and didactic topics
Upon completion of residency, I will be able to independently perform autism evaluations and diagnose autism in the primary care setting

Attend Advocacy Track Day annually to meet with various local community resources in KC or STL to learn about ideas that could be implemented at University Hospital or places families/patients can be referred to
Attend annual Advocacy Track Conference where residents and faculty from other Missouri residency programs meet to discuss resident advocacy projects, learn from guest lecturers and faculty given lectures, and network with each other
Attend Advocacy Day at the Capitol annually to engage in the legislative aspect of advocacy
Review advocacy curriculum content provided by faculty mentor
Develop advocacy project throughout residency

University of Missouri School of Medicine

Program encourages students from rural areas to go back to rural areas to practice primary care
Participated in the Rural Track Summer Community Program (summer between M1 and M2 years), Community Integration Project, and the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LINC) curriculum during my third-year clinical rotations
Spent my entire M3 year in the rural community of Hannibal, MO getting to work with outstanding preceptors and patients while rotating through all core clerkships
Had a panel of 15 continuity patients that I followed throughout all aspects of their care over the course of the year, allowing me to really get to know these patients
Training in a rural setting allowed me to have an increased level of independence and various hands-on experiences
Obtained procedural experience including: intubations/airway management in adult and pediatric patients, circumcisions, central lines, laceration repair, delivering babies and assisting on numerous surgical procedures
