Dec 2022 till August 2023: worked in a Surgical Step Down Unit and Medical ICU. Doing charge duty in the step down unit as needed and training new graduates.

July 2019-Dec 2022: Floated among the hospital's four ICUs and four Step Down Units. Working in a different unit every shift depending on staffing needs.

July 2017-July 2019: Worked in the Surgical ICU. Patient population included surgical, trauma, and neuro patients. Provided care for 1-2 critical care patients depending on patient acuity.

Cared for patients in an outpatient surgery center in the preoperative and postoperative setting.

Traveled in Maine and Florida. Took assignments on medical-surgical, hematology/oncology, and ortho floors. Quickly adapted to different working conditions, charting systems, and equipment at each hospital.

Worked on an ortho/trauma/plastic surgery floor. Taking four to five patient assignments.

Worked on a 36 patient ortho floor. Taking 5-6 patient assignments. Gaining experience with wound vacs with antibiotic irrigation, hemovacs and JP drains, CPM machines, bucks traction, and external fixators.

Evaluated patient's rehabilitative needs, developed treatment plans/goals, and delivered appropriate therapy.
