surface pattern design

I'm new to surface pattern design, but the concepts are very familiar. Having worked as an Interior Designer for several years, you quickly realize the world of patterns is everywhere among us. Having always been drawn to color and texture, I've discovered a new passion in creating patterns for printing on fabrics and wallcoverings. Bringing art into the digital world via surface pattern is a whole new way to explore all the aspects of design I love the most. What a fun way to let your creativity go wild. I'm hoping to continue to be inspired and I love having this outlet to channel artwork, and sketches into a tangible printable product.
