Kent State University Speech and Hearing Clinic - Speech Language Pathology Graduate Student Clinician 

  • Implemented evidence-based articulation and expressive/receptive language treatment for preschool/Kindergarten aged clients. Treatment included Cycles Approach, narrative intervention, and play-based approaches.
  • Clients included those with language disorder, phonological disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Conducted assessment of articulation and language skills using the PLS-5, GFTA-3, CELF-5, and SUGAR analysis language sample to inform clinical decision making.

English Language Proficiency Clinic, Kent OH - Speech Language Pathology Graduate Student Clinician 

  • Provided articulation treatment for clients aged 10-15, and accent modification for adults.

LOCAL Lab Bilingual Dyslexia Research Project, Kent OH - Speech Language Pathology Graduate Student Research Assistant 

  • Participated in collection of Tier II screening information for bilingual Spanish-speaking students in the Northeastern Ohio area. Data collected to identify elementary school students at-risk for dyslexia.
