Abigail is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) who earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron. Abigail has worked with youth and their families in school-based mental health for 13 years. For the last 2 years, Abigail has been working in private practice. Abigail works from a collaborative and strengths-based approach, assisting and supporting clients to be the author of their own lives. She has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, disruptive behaviors, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues and trauma.

Abigail believes that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. Through her work, she strives to foster a safe space where people can tell their story, gain insight into how their experiences have impacted them, and create a new reality that is more fulfilling. Abigail utilizes various therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, family therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting as well as solution-focused and mindfulness-based interventions.


Abigail is married to her loving and supportive husband, Adam, and she has three wonderful children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

-Co-founded the private practice R&R Counseling Center.

-We offer counseling services in the areas of couples, marriage, family, child and adolescents, adults, trauma, and addictions.

- We provide individual and group sessions. Provide in-person and telehealth sessions. Current caseload is approximately 35, accepting clients on an ongoing basis. Cl.’s range is 12 and up. Diagnosis ranged from mood, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, eating disorders…etc. -Completed comprehensive assessments and diagnose clients through interviews and observations.

-Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge. Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary.

-Utilize evidenced based treatment modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Group Counseling Techniques, and Psycho-Education.

-Counsel clients or patients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes.

-Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.

-Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, client diagnostic records, and progress notes.
