• 10/11/23 - PRESENT. Studied Muscular Dystrophy and the greater dystrophin-glycoprotein complex and the neuromuscular junction in mice via RNA extractions, DNA extractions, GEL Electrophoresis, Western Blots, cDNA synthesis, Genotyping, and other modern protein analysis techniques.

Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP)

• 05/01/2023 - PRESENT. Assisted elderly patients in remaining as independent as possible during hospitalized stay. Worked with patients to promote and monitor patient orientation, cognitive stimulation, relaxation/sleep, mobility, feeding/eating, and hearing or vision needs where functional deficits required assistance.

One Thousand Schools, (OTS) El Progreso

• 12/01/2022, 01/01/2023, Traveled to Honduras with the UMICH student organization to help rebuild schools in order to help diminish poverty and gang violence through youth education and empowerment. Built relationships with the community, worked 4-6 hours everyday in construction of the new school building for a week.
