My name is Abigail McMahan: future Occupational Therapist Assistant. Once finished with school, I aspire to work as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the pediatric field. Working with pediatrics has always been a desire of mine. I’m currently enrolled in Mcdowell Technical Community College and plan to transfer in order to obtain my COTA. I have worked as a waitress now for going on 3 years and have decided I would like to expose myself to the healthcare environment, specifically working in pediatrics while I’m finishing my certificate. I have had experience working with children through volunteer work and through my church.
