• Take customer orders with accuracy and attentiveness
• Maintain cleanliness of back kitchen area (rice pots, counters etc.)
• Assist in bringing customers their food to their table with a friendly demeanor
• Prepare and cook rice while ensuring the rice is fully stocked up while we get through the day
• Bus tables, sweep the floor, and restock takeout essentials at the takeout counter
• Assist servers with their tables in making sure every guest is taken care of

• Greet guests warmly when they arrive
• Take phone calls and accommodate guest questions, issues, etc. with a professional attitude
• Seat guests with a friendly and welcoming approach ( according to guest preference and server rotation) and inform them of our specials if applicable while providing menus
• Take and manage reservations as well as text guests using our reservation system when their table is available
• Stock and ensure cleanliness of restrooms
• Wipe down the host area and menus as well as high chairs and boosters ensuring each guest is in a clean environment
• Pre-bus and bus as needed in assisting front of house staff and ensuring we have enough dishes and silverware
• Manage waitlists and update guests on current wait times

• Provided menus and informed guests of our special gluten free menu and any ongoing specials
• Bussed tables and ensured the cleanliness of all tables, menus, baby seats, and the floor
