Doctoral student in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California with six years of experience working with children and their families. Open to gaining experience across diverse practice settings involving direct client interaction and committed to supporting individuals through meaningful, people-centered care.
I work with a close family member who has a child with a disability. I provide temporary, non-medical care and supervision in their home when the family needs to take care of necessary activities outside the home.
I was an Occupational and Physical Therapy Aide who helped call-in patients, sets them up on ice or heat packs, and guided them through their exercises. I also helped maintain the therapy area clean and safe for staff and patients.
I assisted a fourth/fifth-grade class of special education students. I worked closely with a group of students to advance their reading, writing, and math levels. I also supported the classroom environment in different ways such as supervising the students and making sure they are being safe, responsible, and respectful.
I worked as an Occupational Therapy Aide. I was part of a team of sports medicine physical and occupational professionals that are committed to providing each patient individualized plan of care that promotes healing and rehabilitation in a safe and compassionate environment. I helped set up heat packs, ice packs, perform ultrasound, guide patients through their exercises and explain the importance of each exercise based on their injury or diagnoses, and helped with keeping the area clean and safe.
Kidspace Children's Museum is a museum designed to engage children emotionally, intellectually, and physically through kid-driven answered guest inquiries and provided museum information. I welcomed families and helped guests access amenities and opportunities. I lead short onsite interactive activities and engaged guests with exhibit experiences.
