Projects

Mobile Robot Localization and Path Planning, 12/2021, Localization of a ground robot using Extended Kalman Filter by conducting external experiments for measurement updates and Path Planning using Genetic Algorithm in a defined workspace. Development of FARMBOT, 03/2019, Built a rover to analyze major soil nutrients. Used Auger drill bit to take out the soil sample and system to determine the amount of Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium present in the field and a VR based system consisting of VR headset, Pan and tilt camera mechanism for easy immersive control of the rover. XBOX controller was used to control the rover. Development of IOT based paddy field system, 04/2018, Data Collection: water level, temperature, soil moisture and humidity in various parts of the field using appropriate sensors. Data was sent to a private cloud for processing and the developed system takes the decision to turn on the water flow for the field. Development of Sensory Mobile robot, 11/2017, Developed a PID algorithm for the Metallic Line Follower using Arduino with inductive proximity sensors.
