Aboubakr Amer

Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, neurosurgeon with extensive expertise in neuro-trauma and complex spine surgery at a Level I trauma center. I manage high-acuity, complex spine trauma cases, including multi-system injuries that require advanced surgical judgment and close multidisciplinary coordination. I have received comprehensive, advanced spine training at leading institutions in the United States and Canada, including Ohio State University, Harvard-affiliated programs, Moffitt Cancer Center, and Dalhousie University. My clinical focus includes neuro-trauma, complex spinal trauma, advanced reconstructive spine surgery, and minimally invasive spine techniques, with a strong commitment to surgical excellence and evidence-based patient care.
