I am fresh out of school and just now starting to create and pursue my dreams. Since I graduated, I have been looking to gain more hands-on experience to grow and learn as much as possible.
I took a firefighting position straight out of school, which has taught me the importance of respecting higher positions and ranks, handling constructive criticism, and learning self-discipline.
I am a mechanically inclined person due to being around small engines and vehicles at a young age. My skills range from simple tasks like fluid changes to complete engine breakdowns and rebuilds. I also took four years of mechanics in high school and obtained my ASE certification.
On top of that, I also took four years of building construction, which expanded my knowledge of various types of hand tools and heavy equipment. I learned multiple ways that new and old construction types were built.
Using experience from past jobs involving the wants and needs of guests and customers has helped me learn new ways of giving out satisfaction or resolving the needs of anyone with a complaint or problem. It has shown me how to stay level and use constructive speech to keep the situation from escalating and getting worse.
