Work History

Hardware Lead, Line Following Robot

  • Redesigned the control logic to ensure smoother navigation through sharp turns and engineered a robust recovery mechanism that allows the robot to backtrack and realign with the designated path after deviations.
  • Executed soldering and troubleshooting of DC motors, complemented by developing and testing code to ensure their efficient operation.
  • Designed and evaluated light shields for sensors, effectively minimizing interference from external light sources and improving overall sensor accuracy.
  • The robot competed against another teams in a challenge evaluating speed, mobility, and maze navigation capabilities, achieving first place in all categories.

Active Circuit Design Projects

  • Reviewed the datasheet for the LF411 Op-Amp and utilized MATLAB and LTSpice for simulation and analysis.
  • Signal Processing Circuit Design. Developed a differentiator circuit to transform a triangle wave into a square wave, meeting specified rise time and overshoot requirements. Tackled stability and compensation issues to ensure the circuit operated without oscillations.
  • Wien-Bridge Oscillator Design: Developed a Wien-Bridge Oscillator to analyze its performance within the audio frequency range. Employed the LF411 op-amp and fine-tuned resistor and capacitor values to achieve a resonant frequency 1kHz. Performed transient simulations in PSpice and LTSpice to monitor oscillation startup and stabilization.
