Moved The Needle

- Transformed student achievement: increasing the school's state accountability rating from a “F” (55) to a "C" 74 in one year with the same staff, while preventing state takeover. ( School was in its fifth year of Needs Improvement- Bottom five in the State Of Texas.)

“B” rated campus (83) in second year.

- Moved campus from the bottom 5% school in the State of Texas Domain III to a distinction of Top 25% Comparative Group in Domain III statewide.

- Revamped and aligned programs of study resulting in 30 point increase in CCMR from a “D” (65) to a “A” (97) - highest in Dallas ISD Region II.

-Provide stability and worked with community.(School had six principals in twelve years.)

• Increased Algebra 1 scores by 20% from the 2022 school year.
• Invest in the lives of 1400 freshman students, support and serve four assistant principals, and 103 staff members.
• Support Algebra 1 teachers, which led to an increase of District Assessment Scores.

• Invested in the lives of 2700 students, nine assistant principals, and 280 additional staff members to reach a state score of 79, which was an increase of eight points from the previous year.
• Distinctions in the area of Math and English.
• Oversaw a budget of one million plus dollars to help implement the following programs and spaces: E-sports, Social Emotional Center, College Readiness/ Advanced Academic Center.
• Collaborated with stakeholders to establish Mission, Vision, and Core Values which helped to increase Ignite graduation rate from previous year. 103 students graduated early due to this action.
• 30% increase in mastery scores on the history STAAR exam.
• Led Mesquite ISD high schools in the area of English, science, and math scores for STAAR Fall 2019 re-testers.
• Graduated 153/167 At-Risk student from the senior class.
