I’m Adam and I have worked 3 jobs since I’ve graduated high school. My first job was at GFS as a part time store associate. Most of my responsibilities were working the cash register and stocking shelves. I also had to sweep floors, take out trash, and pull all items to the front of the shelf at the end of the shift. August of 2021 I took a full time position at GFS. My duties were making sure every box of product was off pallets and on the floor of the store by midday including dry and frozen goods. I also had to ensure all orders for businesses were loaded up on each order rack. I like to work fast and efficient and the full time job at GFS helped prepare me for that. While we should take our time to make sure we’re doing everything correctly, we had to be quick so product can be on the floor for the next customer to buy. In February of 2023 I came back to work at GFS part time to be a delivery driver. I took on the responsibility of making sure every order was correct and it all was loaded into the van. I delivered the business owner’s product the way they requested, and at the end of my runs, I helped out in the store for the rest of my shifts. Kohl’s was a part time job for a couple months in fall of 2022. Most of my responsibilities was preparing online orders by gathering products and packing. Near the end of my time at Kohl’s I received Amazon returns from customers and put them in their correct box so they can be shipped to the right fulfillment center. I joined Kroger delivery in February 2023. My responsibility is to make sure I’m on schedule, deliver fresh and friendly, while being safe. This job has helped me get along with coworkers on a daily basis. I have recently taken the responsibility of training new drivers that are hired. I’m punctual and I don’t miss work. I’ve been notified to come and work on days off at all 3 Jobs, and do what is asked of me. I’m always on time and if any issues occur, I always report to my supervisors to make sure they are aware of the problem.
