I am a mechanic with more than 8 years of experience completing diverse service and repairs on both wheeled and track vehicles including, but not limited to, small engines repairs, troubleshooting, modifying and maintaining vehicles and equipment by changing belts, blades, tires, and filters, completing engine tune-ups, rebuilding/replacing carburetors, performing annual/routine services. I am a dedicated team player and always edger to assist coworkers on complex repairs such as engine and transmission replacements, specializing in preventive maintenance service and checks (PMCS), removing, adjusting, or replacing worn and defective parts on military equipment and power generators. I am familiar with disassembling, rebuilding, and installing new small engines and pulling power packs from track vehicles. I am competent in preforming operational inspections and ensuring vehicles are properly served and repaired by repairing and regularly completing preventative maintenance tasks. I can perform body work. I'm Intelligent and driven with talents in reading technical manuals and using the maintenance support device (MSD) and quickly solving diverse mechanical problems. I am very hardworking in completing tests to diagnose and restore engine elements and components and precise in delivering accurate service and checking engine functions to produce quality work. I have a good working knowledge of military equipment and vehicles. As a motor sergeant for an engineer battalion in a combat environment on two overseas deployments, supervising soldiers and overseeing maintenance on all equipment, I am also competent in my capabilities of leading and supervising individuals in stressful environments. Though I am knowledgeable and experienced, I am always looking to further my knowledge and experience as a mechanic.
