Summary
While growing up I played tier 1 hockey for various teams around Wisconsin traveling all over the US in the process. After graduating high school I decided to attend Madison Area Technical College and received an associates degree in Business and Economics. I quickly learned that I did not want to purse a career in that field so I joined the Fire Science Program at MATC. I completed the Fire Academy and received my Fire 1,2 and Hazardous Materials certifications. After that, I joined my hometown fire department in Oregon where I am currently a part time firefighter. I am now 22 years old and currently taking the EMS basic course at MATC as I wish to pursue the fire service as a full time career.
