● Handle scheduling for employee shifts, projects, and job duties
● Order product and manage budgets for overtime, supplies, and linen
● Handle 15+employees and make sure to settle any conflicts or disputes between them
● Step in when there are call outs and the shift can't be filled
● Be able to work in laundry, housekeeping, and floor work when needed
● Handle inventory of supplies and personal belongings
● Maintain a positive relationship with other department staff, and with residents
● Prepare food for residents in a nursing home setting
● Clean dishes, abiding by government sanitary guidelines
● Pass food out throughout the building,
pushing food trucks and ensuring they're delivered on time
● Maintain a healthy relationship with residents and other departments
● Lift and put away inventory
● Manage the cash register, handling money and ensuring cash adds up
● Prepare food for customers
● Put away stock
● Open and close the store. Ensure inventory is correct, money is correct, and computer systems are correct
● Clean up after customers
● Maintain a healthy rapport with customers and use customer service skills on a day to day basis
