
Marine Corps veteran with extensive experience performing field operations in remote wilderness environments. Proficiency in backcountry travel, physical endurance, and safe operations through thousands of miles of hiking, backpacking, and trail riding. · Conducted high-elevation ecological fieldwork involving 10–15 miles of daily hiking while carrying 20–25 lbs of field equipment
· Assisted in research evaluating impacts of introduced mountain goats on rare endemic plant species
· Established and monitored vegetation transects using quadrat sampling to identify species composition, utilization, and disturbance
· Collected and cataloged ungulate fecal samples (mountain goat, deer, elk) to assess plant–herbivore interactions
· Operated high-clearance 4WD vehicles in rugged, remote terrain
