Dynamic Installer/Trainer with extensive experience at Advanced Home Solutions, excelling in customer relations and quality assurance. Proficient in troubleshooting and skilled with power tools, I ensure seamless satellite installations while training new technicians to uphold high standards. Committed to delivering exceptional service and fostering team success in fast-paced environments.
I install satellite dishes for customers to receive internet service. When I arrive at house and I speak with customer to determine where they would like to have modem installed. I then determine the best way to route cable to location (drill through floor or wall). After that I go outside and and look for the best line of sight for the satellite position (roof, pole in yard, deck, or side of house). I then come back inside and go over what needs to be done with the customer and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
After I have completed my physical work I active the modem and then help customer hook up any wireless devices that need connected to the internet. I then have customer look over my work and assure they are happy with the installation.
As a trainer I am assigned trainees and they ride with me for 2 weeks. During that 2 week period I assess whether they will be a good fit for the company. If they are, I sign off and then they go on a probationary period of 1 month and can call me with and questions. If not, I let my boss know the reasons and will will either let them go or ask that I give them more time.

As a manager, I would assign routes to the techs and assure they had the equipment to do all the jobs scheduled each day. If a tech called off, I would either assign his job to a different tech or I would have to call customer to get a reschedule date if I did not have another tech to cover it. I would take phone calls from techs and customers if a problem arose and do my best to remedy the situation.
