Adam Pollack

As an order filler, my job allows me to pick products from different locations in the warehouse and place the products into roll containers. Then, when the assignment is complete, I deliver the roll containers to the shipping dock on an RTC. I'm also a certified trainer with Dollar General.

As a trainer, my responsibilities include training new employees, as well as employees from different departments on how to pick in non-cons. I've also learned about other departments over the years I've worked for Dollar General, such as shipping and repack, so I can perform my job to the best of my abilities. I'm also trained to work the desk in non-con, which consists of keeping balance of picking in different zones. I keep track of items that have been shorted by making sure that the location is going to be replenished, even if I have to replenish the missing items myself. I also assist with inventory by going to the locations of the missing products or where the system has products marked as missing to physically verify what needs to be done and to complete the task at hand.
