Responsible for processing/packaging/stocking products according to Grocery Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos [in English]. Ability to write simple correspondence [in English]. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates of the organization who only speak English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.

REASONING ABILITY. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS. Complete Company's training including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge.

• Cleaned carpets using hot water extraction method, shampooing and bonnet cleaning techniques.
• Moved furniture and other items from the area being cleaned.
• Rinsed carpet with an appropriate solution for spot removal.
• Applied protective treatments such as deodorizers and stain-resistant coatings.
• Inspected carpets for signs of wear or damage before beginning work.
• Used a variety of professional grade carpet cleaners, shampoos, conditioners, and deodorizers.
• Performed pre-cleaning inspections of customer premises to determine type of carpet or upholstery fabric that needs to be cleaned.
• Checked for colorfastness on fabrics by testing a small hidden area prior to cleaning process.
• Dried carpets using air movers and fans after the cleaning process was completed.
