Accomplishments

  • Seed oil is extracted in emulsion formulation for skin care products and to manage obesity. Four manuscripts were published in peer-reviewed Journals at the end of the projects.
  • Synthesis of different nanoparticles used in developing treatment methods for removing bacteria DNA conveying antibiotic resistance genes in different water matrices. Four manuscripts had already been published in peer-reviewed Journals at the end of the projects.
  • Bacteria DNA conveying antibiotics resistance genes found in wastewater treatment plants, natural waters, and hospital wastewater were effectively removed using different synthesized and functionalized nanomaterials.
