- Baan Unrak is a shelter in Sangkhlaburi, Thailand for children that have been taken out of the sex slave industry; as well as as a shelter for Burma refugees and women running from abusive homes. To help volunteers planted cotton to provide income, repainted the meditation room, played with children, and taught English/Art/Math.
- The Elephant Shelter in Thailand takes in abused Thai Elephants and give them a safe environment. This has caused an increase in fertility in order to repopulate the decreased Elephant population. Volunteers were required to feed and wash the Elephants. We also had a birth while we were there, it was an amazing experience and lucky. Elephants have pregnancies that last two years.
