Assistant Teacher

  • I assistant teach a dance class for people with Parkinsons disease and other neurological disorders. The class is taught by WWU professor Pam Kuntz.
  • Along with assistant teaching, I am an intern for Kuntz and company, helping find accessible spaces and resources for participants of the class.
  • I have attended seminars on Parkinson's disease in order to better understand how to help participants of the class.
  • I would like to pursue movement therapy in my dance career and this class has taught me so much about helping reduce Parkinson's disease symptoms through movement and dance.

  • Trained in various contemporary and ballet classes, working with several professors
  • Choreographed my own nine-minute piece that was performed on Western Washington University's main performance stage. This process included an audition where I chose my dancers, three and a half months of rehearsal time, as well as involvement in costumes and lighting design.
  • Performed in every show offered by the dance department since arriving to WWU. This includes auditions, rehersals and the shows themselves.
  • Worked with resident choreographer Toni Pasion in a week-long intensive that resulted in a Filipino-Hawaiian inspired piece that was performed on WWU mainstage.
  • Involvement in multiple student-produced choreography shows..
  • Currently working on my BFA, with plans to graduate in 2027

  • Performing as the role of "Wood Pigeon", a solo/lead role.
  • "The Story of the Sea and Sky", is a Kate Bush tribute show that composes of two acts. It is a concept show, inspired by Kate Bush and created/choreographed by Christian West and Pilar Godimez
  • The show will be performed at WWU in May 2025
