Through the Health Science Career Tech at Lake Middle High School, I was given many opportunities to shadow professional health care workers on a daily basis. Through this opportunity, I gained insight into a Physical Therapist's daily work and patient interactions. Along with the Physical Therapist, I interacted with patients in a kind manner, demonstrated exercises, helped with patient note-taking, and organized equipment.
