As a CNA on a Med-Surg unit, I support patients with essential daily care while assisting the nursing team in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care. My responsibilities include helping patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and repositioning to maintain comfort and prevent complications.
I regularly obtain and record vital signs, monitor intake and output, and promptly report changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff. I also assist with preparing patients for procedures, support post-operative recovery, and ensure proper infection control and safety practices are followed at all times.
In addition to physical care, I provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during hospital stays. By working closely with RNs, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team, I contribute to smooth patient care, timely communication, and positive health outcomes.
As a CNA in a rehab setting, I provide hands-on care and daily support to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. I assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while also helping patients safely practice skills that support their rehabilitation goals.
I take and record vital signs, monitor patients’ progress, and report changes to nursing staff and therapists to support individualized care plans. I also assist with meal service, encourage proper nutrition, and help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Beyond physical care, I motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery process, offering emotional support and helping them regain confidence in their independence. By working closely with nurses, therapists, and other team members, I ensure patients receive quality, compassionate care that supports their healing and long-term well-being.
In this role, I support residents in a community-based residential facility by assisting with their daily needs while promoting independence and dignity. My responsibilities include helping with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. I also monitor residents’ health, take and record vitals, and promptly report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
I provide support with medications according to CBRF guidelines, assist with meal preparation and service, and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. Beyond physical care, I engage residents in daily activities, encourage social interaction, and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
Working as part of a team, I strive to build trusting relationships with residents and their families while ensuring care is delivered in line with CBRF standards and state regulations.
In this role, I help residents with their everyday needs, like bathing, dressing, eating, and moving around safely. I keep track of their well-being by taking vitals, noticing any changes, and reporting them to the nursing staff. I also make sure living spaces are clean and comfortable, assist with light housekeeping, and support residents during meals and activities.
Beyond daily care, I spend time with residents to offer companionship and encouragement, helping them feel respected and supported. I work closely with the care team to ensure each resident receives quality, compassionate care while maintaining their dignity and independence.
